What is a Pop-Up Card?
Traditionally, a pop-up card is a greeting card that contains a design on the inside that stands up when the card is opened. This Dreidel Pop-Up Card fits this description perfectly: when you open it up, the cutest dreidel design “pops-up” in 3D!
Of course, there are all sorts of pop-up cards. For instance, my Pop-Up Father’s Day BBQ Card pops up and stands on its own, looking like a miniature barbeque!

How to Make a Dreidel Pop-Up Card With My Cricut Hanukkah Card Template
Step 1: Download and Upload Your SVG File
Begin by downloading your Hanukkah Pop-Up Card and uploading it to your corresponding design program (ie.: Design Space for Cricut and Silhouette Studio for your Silhouette cutting machine)
Step 2: Cut the Design
Once you’ve uploaded the design onto your canvas, proceed to cut your design on the corresponding color cardstock.
Step 3: Start Assembling The Inner Portion of the Card
Begin the card-making process by working with the inner portion of your Dreidel Pop-Up Card. Add craft glue on the back of each blue dreidel piece. Attach it to the center portion of the inner card (the large white piece), as shown in the photographs below. Be sure that the blue pieces are matched-up with the shape in the center of the inner card.
Step 4: Give The Inner Card Its “Pop-Up” Shape
Gently pull out the center piece of your inner card and fold it in the middle to have the portion pop out.
Step 5: Fold the Inner Card In Half
Next, fold the inner piece in half, with the pop-up portion being on the inside.
Step 6: Glue the Inner Card to the Outer Card
Now, take that newly-folded inner card and add crafter’s tape the back of each side of it. Attach it to the outer card (your large blue piece).
Step 7: Personalize and Give as a Gift!
Your pop-up card is now ready for personalizing and to give to a loved one!
