What’s the most tempting part to baking cookies? Not eating all of the cookie dough, of course!
Growing up, I would always try to sneak in a couple of spoonfuls of cookie dough, even though it was highly discouraged. I’d always be told that the raw egg wasn’t a good idea to consume.
Well, cookie dough lovers, I have a solution for you: my Funfetti Cookie Dough recipe is completely safe to munch on AND it’s absolutely delicious!
Remember that time I made Brownie Batter Dough? Well, if you loved that recipe, then you’ll certainly love my Funfetti Cookie Dough! It’s really easy to make and tastes like the real deal.
Ingredients:
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp white granulated sugar
- ½ tsp vanilla
- Pinch of salt
- Pinch of cinnamon (optional)
- ⅓ cup + 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1-2 tsp milk
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Serves: 2
Instructions:
Begin by toasting the flour to eliminate any sort of bacteria. To do so, spread it evenly onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 5 minutes in a 350 degree F oven.
Add softened butter, sugars, vanilla and salt in a bowl. Use a fork to combine all ingredients and smooth them out.
If using cinnamon, add it now. Stir in the flour, one tablespoon at a time until well combined.
If needed, stir in milk, only one teaspoon at a time, until the dough reaches the desired consistency.
Serve and enjoy!
