Seeking a new frozen treat? When the weather’s hot, there’s nothing more satisfying than biting into something cool and refreshing. My Frozen Sour Patch Grapes are an easy and fun snack – and a simple way to get more fruit into your kiddos’ diets.
When I tell you that this recipe is easy, I really mean it. With only three ingredients and five easy steps, your little ones will love whipping this snack up with you.
I love the fact that my Frozen Sour Patch Grapes get its added flavor from the Jell-o coating. How brilliant, right? Sure, it serves more as a dessert, but a little bit of fruit is better than none at all, right?
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of grapes
- 1 tablespoon of flavored Jell-o
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
Instructions:
Begin by washing grapes thoroughly and then allow for them to air dry.
In a large bowl, mix together grapes, Jell- and sugar until fully coated.
Spread the coated grapes on a parchment-lined baking sheet, in one single layer.
Place the baking sheet in a freezer and allow to freeze for 12 hours.
When you are ready to eat, serve and eat immediately.
