“O say, can you see?” This Red, White and Blue Fudge is the patriotic dessert you definitely need for this year’s festivities. It’s sweet, easy to make and absolutely unique.

I love how the sprinkles give this fudge a beautiful patriotic feel. Your kiddos will love biting into this Red, White and Blue Fudge. Serve it as the main dessert during your Fourth of July festivities and it’ll be the hit of the party. The layers of color will impress your guests, guaranteed!

In the summertime, I’m all about desserts that are no-bake (psst: have you seen my Cookie Dough Bites?). This Patriotic Fudge is the perfect sweet solution for those hot summer months.

Ingredients:

• 2 14oz cans sweetened condensed milk
• 1 cup white cake mix, divided
• 4 cups white chocolate chips, divided
• Red, white, and blue sprinkles
• 1 tsp vanilla flavoring, divided
• Red and blue food coloring
• Foil lined 2 quart glass baking dish

Directions:

In a large glass bowl, mix together 1 can of condensed milk with ½ cup white cake mix. Add 2 cups white chocolate chips and combine.

Place mixture in microwave and microwave for 1 minute. Remove and stir well. If chocolate chips are not melted, return to the microwave for 20 seconds, being careful not to overheat and scorch the chocolate chips. Add ½ tsp vanilla flavoring and mix well.

Evenly divide the mixture between two bowls. In the first bowl, add blue food coloring. Begin with 5-6 drops and add more until you obtain your desired shade of blue. (I added approximately 15 drops, as I wanted a brighter blue.)

In the second bowl, add red food coloring to the mixture. Just like with your previous bowl, start with 5-6 drops, and add more until you get the desired tint of red. Set both bowls aside.

Repeat the first 2 steps with the remaining ingredients. Let the mixture cool slightly, then fold in approximately ¼ cup of red, white, and blue sprinkles. You don’t want the sprinkles to melt, nor for the colors to bleed.

Pour the blue mixture into the foil lined baking dish, ensuring that it is smooth, and evenly covers the dish.

Next, add the white mixture with sprinkles on top of the blue mixture. Again, make sure it is smooth, and evenly covers the dish.

Carefully add the red mixture on top of the white mixture, ensuring that it is smooth evenly across the dish.

Sprinkle approximately ¼ c of red, white, and blue sprinkles all over the top red layer. Using your hand, pat down the sprinkles lightly to get them to stick to the top layer. Refrigerate until set, at least 2 hours. Remove from the foil pan, cut into bars, and enjoy!
