Begin by cutting a circle from the adhesive foam sticker sheet, about 2 inches in diameter.
Turn the flower pot upside down and stick the foam to the middle side of the flower pot.
Gather the end of the nautical jute rope and fold it inward until a small circle is formed at the end of the rope. Apply hot glue so that the circle holds its shape.
Apply hot glue to the bottom center point of the flower pot (which is now technically the “top” of the flower pot since it is upside down).
Press the small jute rope circle onto the glue.
Begin winding the jute rope around in circles all the way around the flower pot. Apply hot glue to attach the jute rope as you go.
Once you get down to the black foam sticker circle, cut the jute rope. Attach the end with hot glue. Begin wrapping and gluing again on the other side of the black foam sticker circle. This ensures that the foam circle remains exposed.
Continue to glue the jute rope all the way to the bottom of the flower pot, so that it is fully covered in rope. Cut off any excess rope. Glue the final piece to the pot.
Using the leftover jute rope, measure around the black foam sticker circle, and cut enough to go around the circle. Hot glue the ends together to close the circle. Next, secure the jute rope circle to the outside border of the foam sticker circle by hot gluing it.
Repeat the previous step, but using the inner circle of the foam sticker circle as a measurement. The black foam sticker circle should now have two layers of jute rope outlining it.
Cut faux flowers off of its stems. Hot glue the flowers to the top of your flower pot.
